Linda Sleeter, R.N., B.S.N., H.N.C.-B.C., S.E.P.
A Holistic Nurse has a scientific education and integrates many healing practices to facilitate wellness in the individual. My passion for science and learning helps me stay up to date on the most current treatments and research. Neuroscience, somatic therapies, and mindfulness are part of the cutting edge in healing trauma and other illnesses.
We all struggle with the human experience of physical, mental, or emotional symptoms. One of my goals in working with clients is to help you identify all the aspects of your symptoms and how they create unconscious patterns of distress. We all need the compassionate care of a healthcare professional to help guide us in our healing process. Each person has the capacity for self-healing and needs support for the natural unfolding of that capacity.
The Healing Process
Healing is a completely unique and creative process. The incredible wisdom to heal our body/mind lies within us. We need the support of loving friends and family plus health professionals who respect and support our own healing process. The healing process is a journey that takes us deeper into ourselves, perhaps identifying old patterns or wounds that we thought were no longer affecting us. While we cannot change the past, we can change the emotional charge and energetic hold the past continues to have on us: how it affects our personal actions and interpretations of our present world. There are specific therapies, such as Somatic Experiencing, that can renegotiate these past experiences. Engaging in this inner work approach, we are assisted and empowered to use the trauma, or any overwhelming stressor, as a catalyst and transformative experience.
I am passionate about supporting each individual in determining his or her own path to healing and actively participating in a healthy lifestyle. My role in your continued growth and healing is a spiritual gift I honor.
